Do/You. How To Build A Strong Personal Brand. (Cornwall)

  • Hay Studio Trenewth, Burlorne Tregoose Wadebridge, PL30 3AJ (map)

Never seem able to find the time to take your social media presence to the next level?

Stuck what to write? Stumped how to build your cred? Stymied to find what works?

Have we got a workshop for you:

DO/YOU: Only twenty places.

Where: The sublime Hay Studio, near Wadebridge, Cornwall, PL30 3AJ. (But you'll think you're in the Napa Valley.)

When: November 4th 2016

If you want to use Social Media effectively, 3 principles apply:

1. Everyone is a Brand. (Oh yes you are.)
2. Everyone is a ‘Media Owner’. (Potentially.)
3. Everyone is a ‘Creative Director’. (If you want to be.)

On Friday, Nov 4th, Mike Coulter is leading a day-long workshop, to help you nail all of the above, and more, at the beautiful Hay Studio, set amongst the rolling, rural folds of North Cornwall.

A veritable David Attenborough of the personal branding jungle, Mike has been there, done that and is still doing it, across the constantly changing social media landscape.

At Do/You he’ll pack 10+ years of social media experience into one fascinating, absorbing and rewarding day.

Over the course of this immersive, hands-on, exercise-filled workshop, you will:

i) Develop a complete understanding and implementation of points 1, 2 & 3 outlined in the introduction.

ii) Leave the room with a more robust social media profile than when you walked in.

iii) Compile a folders-full of new creative ideas, about how youcan further your brand objectives, and perhaps solve some pesky and specific online marketing issues you may have.

iv) Begin a powerful, personal, brand-building journey, that will result in higher Google rankings, a wider more valuable network and personal competitive advantage in the marketplace. Not to mention fast-track introduction and access to the wider/wonderful/already uber-well-connected Do Community.

v) Not to mention the advantages of spending a day in the company of some like-minded professionals; collegiately exploring some of the key challenges we all face in the social media age.

Every attendee will receive a comprehensive workbook, and learn in what is undoubtedly one of the funkiest 'classrooms' in the county. (Did I say county, I meant Country.)

What will you learn?

If you’ve got it, flaunt it.

(If you haven’t, learn it.)

Platforms. (Go for the stable and staple ones. Avoid the shiny-new-thing, thing.)

Linkedin: Misused, mistreated, misunderstood.

Watch out Rupert: Why we’re all mini-Murdochs: How to grow your network: Why it matters.

Creative Oomph. (Not all creatives work in the creative department.) Where do great ideas come from?

What to do when you’re creatively stuck (we're going to go big or go home in terms of creativity on this one).

How to write.

Social photography. What to see. Where to share.

How to super-charge your content calendar. (You do have a content calendar don’t you?) A personal content calendar?

Deep work.

Progress is directional.

You don’t need permission. You don’t need money. You do need time. (But maybe less than you think.)

Epic creative productivity Hacks.
