Home milling, sourdough understanding and a killer GF option.
Tom Herbert’s bread course will run in our own farmhouse kitchen and feature bread that you can make really simply in any kitchen. There will also be some campfire baking thrown in.
Arrive on the Friday morning at 10.00am for toast, jam and coffee and then get straight into sourdough starter feeding and a bit of milling. The next step will be to knead a big sourdough that will be used to make all manner of wonderful breads. There will be a delicious lunch an afternoon of campfire baking and banter.

You'll be able to take away Tom’s recipes and some 61 year old sourdough.

Tom's a 5th generation baker and has been teaching home baking for 15+ years. Last year he won best British Gluten Free loaf. It's a buy one give one loaf and they've so far provided 17k+ loaves to a community in Tanzania. He believes the amazing flavour, cool drama and nutritional benefits of baking with freshly milled flour will be what gets people stoked about baking in the decade ahead.
