Where do ideas go to school? Where does 'How Might We' go to school? Where does curiosity go to school? Where do creative teens go to learn about ideas and creativity, apart from their bedrooms.

Teen Do is 2 day summer camp for creativity. To learn from speakers, to learn from workshops, and to learn from each other. Talks, dozens of workshops, all on an amazing farm in west Wales. The kitchen is staffed by teens. The talks are curated by Teens.

We’re sensing that lots of teenagers would love to attend teen Do but can’t afford the ticket. We get that. We also understand that a great event like teen Do is made of a remarkable and diverse audience. So we would like everyone to have the opportunity to attend.

Event info:
-What
The giving chair is a free ticket to the event. It includes meals, all the talks, the workshops, the music events and camping accommodation. We’ve got it all sorted.
-When
The event starts before lunch (12pm) on Friday August 12th and it finishes after lunch on Sunday August 14th.
-Where
The event takes place at Parc-y-Pratt farm, near Cardigan in West Wales. It is set in an old working farm that overlooks Cardigan Bay. It’s a magical setting.

So this all sounds cool and you want in or know of someone? Great, we want to hear from you!

The brief:
Make a 1 minute film telling us about yourself and why you think you should attend teen Do and then send the link to: teendo@thedolectures.co.uk
Or if you would prefer not to make a film, you can use any other means you have at your imagination’s disposal.

Deadline:
Please make sure you send your entry in by August 1st. And we’ll announce the lucky winners by August 2nd.

In return for the chair…
Once successful, it’s your job to absorb the stories and expertise of the people you meet at teen Do and pass it on to your sponsor. You become somewhat of a roaming reporter. You’ll capture the atmosphere of teen Do by making a 1 minute video or presentation about your time at the event. We ask for this to be done within 4 weeks of the event, so we can share your experience with your sponsor and the rest of the world.

Successful applicants:
- Will receive one ticket to teen Do from the 12th - 14th August 2016. This ticket is non transferable and will include accommodation, food and access to all areas of the event including workshops and activities.

You will need to:
- Organise your own travel arrangements, including costs and any expenses incurred, to and from the event.
- Attend the event in full.
- Film or take photographs of your time at the event, sending the completed, edited film or photos back to the Do Lectures, no later than 4 weeks after the event.

We know that Do has the power to change lives and we are super excited that we can help inspire teens at the start of their journey.

If you have any questions please email teendo@thedolectures.co.uk

Best of luck!
