We're excited, chuffed and awed to announce three remarkable gentlemen as speakers for Do 2015.

 Taylor Davidson - Venture capitalist, consultant, advisor, and mentor

Taylor Davidson helps entrepreneurs build innovative ideas into remarkable companies, working with consumer and enterprise businesses in digital media, imagery, mobile, and more. He has invested and advised a number of early-stage startups throughout his career as a venture capitalist, consultant, advisor, and mentor.

Taylor was formerly an early-stage venture capitalist at a US-based advertising agency, where in addition to investing in startups he co-created an internal educational program about venture capital and entrepreneurship and co-curated the book Creative Entrepreneurship to share this educational goal with anyone in the world. Over 12,000 entrepreneurs have downloaded one of his template financial models for startups.

He is also a professional photographer (@tdavidson on Instagram), focusing on business and event photography for clients like Clinton Global Initiative, The Economist, CNN, The Rockefeller Foundation, and many others.

Having been wowed by Do Lectures in Wales last year, Taylor is now up for flying from New York to join us down under. We're so looking forward to meeting the man who's described as a "beautiful person". 

  

John Elliot - Big hearted businessman

John Elliott is committed to finding great vehicles to align himself with to make the World a better place for the next generations of all species. He looks after TOMS in Australia and New Zealand - the One for One company who use their business to improve peoples lives around the world.

He is a board member of B Lab Australia  and New Zealand that look after B Corporations who are leading a global movement to redefine success in business.

John is also the owner of Save Our Soles, an Australian company that is committed to recycling unwanted footwear in the Australian and New Zealand markets. 

With a rich background in consumer goods, sustainability and wise to doing business well, we'll be having wonderful conversations with John over a cuppa, dinner and possibly over icecream at the local Hall!

 

Andy Hedges - Retail Director, leadership cultivator, Dad, Jolly Good Fellow

Andy was appointed Director of Shopping Centre Management of Scentre Group in June 2014. Prior to the establishment of Scentre Group he was the Director of Shopping Centre Management for Westfield Australia, since joining in October 2007. Andy was previously with FMCG company, Reckitt Benckiser for 20 years in various management roles in Canada and the UK, and as Senior Vice President and Regional Director for ANZ region. 

A wise executive with a keen interest and focus on Leadership, Andy is active across Social Media, evangelising great business practices. He also generously provides support, guidance and time for others, strengthening communities and connecting relevant people to enhance their work and lives.

Andy is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (UK) and is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management.

From the start, Andy has been a wonderful promoter, enthusiast and champion for Do Lectures Australia. We are so thrilled to have Andy on the DO stage in March.
